Gables Holiday Cottage, Achiltibuie is a self-catering holiday home in Polbain, a small crofting hamlet in Coigach, the north west Highlands of Scotland. Gables Cottage offers stunning views out over the coast and beaches to the sea and Summer Isles. Clean fresh air, open mountains and spectacular beaches are all on our doorstep, a great place to escape and recharge, or a perfect base to explore, walk, climb and fish.
Ten miles north of Ullapool, a winding single-track road passes Ben More and Stac Pollaidh, leading to the Coigach Peninsula, Achiltibuie and Polbain, an ideal centre from which to explore the North West Highlands or simply relax among magnificent coastal scenery. Our location has panoramic views out over the sea and Summer Isles, changing with the light from hour to hour.
